This book doesn’t go out to professionals or semi-professionals. Instead this book was written for everyday users who just want to build a website helping them to easily achieve certain effects and increase their knowledge about the web.
My very own mission and the goal of this E-Book is to show you what you can do in WordPress in addition to the obvious things. Explain in plain English without using unnecessary technical jargon how to achieve the effect you want in steps which are simple to follow even with no technical knowledge. In other words the goal is to provide you the tools to easily get more out of WordPress.
In this E-Book I re-wrote most of the FAQs you find on my website making them cleaner, easier to read and understand. It is providing more detailed explanations and it’s more illustrated than the website. The result is that the E-Book is much better and more user-friendly than the website.
In addition to the content of the website the WordPressFAQ.org eBook also includes: “How to set which part of the post or what shows up on the main blog page” in How to use WordPress and settings (Basics), Auto-Scrolling text and photos ,Auto fading text, Tear down menu, Sliding image menu, Auto fading photos slideshow, Photo changing on pageload (display random image), How to use the Contact Form 7 plugin in Forms, Part of Facebook and Twitter, Booking system solution in the E-Commerce and business solutions chapter, How to disable right-click on your website, Editing WordPress themes: A general introduction (the very basics), Editing the TwentyTen WordPress 3.0 default theme (the very basics), and more… which are not discussed on the website.
The book will also save you a lot of time since you don’t have to spend your time searching for a solution on Google and figure out how it works anymore. It’s all there. And if it isn’t you could suggest me to include a chapter about it in a future update.

FAQ about this book:
Do the tutorials in this E-Book work on WordPress.com as well? No. For security reasons WordPress.com doesn’t allow you to edit code the way it is needed in most of the chapters of this book. To follow what is described in this book you have to have a WordPress.org blog installed on your own server.
What version of WordPress was this book written for? The book was written with version 3.0 (and newer) in mind. It also works for version 2 however it is recommended to update to version 3 which is free of charge anyway.
