A minimalistic but nevertheless good looking image-gallery. Especially good if you have some panoramic pictures or if you want to insert some text from time to time with explanations. The images could also be turned into links opening in the same or in a new window so you could also use it as a menu if you want. Further the gallery does not use iFrames which is great.

Instructions on how to customize the gallery and on how to embed it into your page or post are found in the folder you download. It’s all HTML and CSS and the CSS file is entirely commented for you to know what to change where. Sizes and colors are customizable (except for the scrollbar).

Last but not least the gallery works on iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch too.

Please note that this gallery is also included in the: E-Book E-Book E-Book
so if you buy one of these books there’s no need to buy the gallery since it’s already included.

  1. I just recently brought this for my web but couldn’t figure out how to make the container large to fill almost the whole page for my web. Help

  2. Hi,

    the width of the gallery is set in the scrollgallerystyle.css file where it says

    #simplescrollgallerycontainer {
    width:700px; /* width of the gallery */

    open the file in TextWrangler (Mac) or Notepad (Windows).
